Education:  Graduated with honors from the School of Law of the University of Puerto Rico in 1978 and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Georgetown University’s Law Center, Washington, D.C. in 1980.

Admissions to Bar: Mr. Corretjer Piquer is admitted as a Notary Public for the jurisdiction of Puerto Rico, and admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico.

He has been appointed by the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico as a Member of the Committee for the Drafting of Questions for the Bar Exam and by the Puerto Rican Bar Association as a member of the Association’s Committee for the Evaluation of Candidates to the Judiciary in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He has also been appointed on multiple occasions by the Courts of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico to serve as Special Master in complex litigation.

Areas of Concentration:  Mr. Corretjer Piquer has extensive experience in complex construction, contract, tort and commercial litigation and has negotiated, litigated, arbitrated, and mediated disputes arising in both the public and private sectors, both in the trial and appellate forums.

Other Qualifications:  Mr. Corretjer Piquer has served as guest lecturer on the Puerto Rico Civil Code and construction law for the Interamerican University School of Law’s Continued Legal Education Program. As counsel for the former Puerto Rico Housing Bank and Finance Agency, Mr. Corretjer acted as closing attorney in numerous financing agreements between this agency and developers of low income housing projects in Puerto Rico for many decades.

Mr. Roberto Corretjer Piquer also has extensive experience in pension plans, and applicable law, and is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

Mr. Corretjer has been counsel to the Teamsters Union Pension Plan 901 for many years, and also represents other benefit plans in Puerto Rico.

Eduardo J. Corretjer Reyes, Capital and Managing Member
Eduardo Corretjer

Education: Obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the Columbia University Law School in May 2005, after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) degree (magna cum laude) with a double major in Finance and International Business in May 2002 from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Washington D.C.

Admissions to Bar: Mr. Eduardo J. Corretjer Reyes is admitted to the practice of law in the following courts and jurisdictions: Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (2006), State of New York (2006), U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico (2007), U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit (2007), District of Columbia (2007).

Other qualifications: He is admitted as a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. He has also served as speaker in the Interamerican University School of Law’s Continued Legal Education Seminars on construction law.

Areas of concentration: Mr. Corretjer Reyes has over 10 years of experience in complex construction, commercial, contract, collections and bankruptcy litigation. He has negotiated, litigated, arbitrated and mediated multiple transactions and cases on a wide range of topics, including, complex construction issues, renewable energy projects, debtor’s and creditor’s bankruptcy matters, and trademark rights.  His practice currently focuses in commercial, contract, and employment law, commercial landlord/tenant matters, and creditors bankruptcy work.

Mr. Corretjer Reyes is fully bilingual in Spanish and English and has some basic knowledge of Portuguese.

Rafael H. Ramirez Polanco
Rafael-Ramirez,esqEducation:  Mr. Ramírez obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (B.B.A.), Cum Laude, with a mayor in Marketing in May 2009 from the University of the Sacred Heart of Puerto Rico.  He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law, Cum Laude, in May 2013.  While in law school, he served as a teacher assistant in the Notary course to Professor Virgilio Mainardi Peralta.

Admissions to Bar:  Mr. Ramirez is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (2014) and the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico (2014).

Other qualifications:  He is also admitted as a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.  He is a member of the American Bar Association.

Areas of Concentration:  Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ramírez worked as a law clerk in various law firms, where he concentrated and assisted in contract law, administrative law, tort, employment, alimony, estate and professional conduct cases, among others.

Mr. Ramirez’s current practice focuses on civil and construction litigation, contract law and Notary matters, and is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

Pamela D. Gonzalez Robinson - Of Counsel
Obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2001 after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of St. Francis.  While at Illinois law school, she served on the Moot Court Board after wining Best Oral Argument in the NHBA Moot Court Competition and representing the school at the National competition in California. González worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago Department of Law in the Building and Land Use Litigation Division for 2 years prior to entering private practice where she earned substantial trial experience.  She has been admitted to practice in the following jurisdictions:  State of Illinois (2001), U.S. Northern District of Illinios (2001), Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (2002), U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico (2005), Notary Public Puerto Rico (2005), U.S. Court of Appeals First Circuit (2006). González’s current practice focuses in the areas of civil litigation, contract negotiation and preparation, and representation of clients at the federal level. Mrs. Gonzalez is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
Maria M. Reyes Vidal - Of Counsel

MRV - perfilAfter graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Puerto Rico, she obtained a Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law on May 1977. She was admitted to the practice of law by the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico in 1977 and to the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico in 1978.

She was a founding member of Roberto Corretjer Piquer Law Offices, the predecessor to Corretjer, L.L.C.

Mrs. Reyes retired from the full-time practice of law in the mid-1990s to work as the CEO and chairwoman of Herederos Vidal Nadal, Inc., the managing partner for various real estate development and holding companies and partnerships in Puerto Rico. Mrs. Reyes has extensive experience in commercial contracting, real estate developing, and commercial landlord/tenant matters. She is also admitted as a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

She provides consulting services to Corretjer, L.L.C. on her areas of expertise in an of counsel capacity.

Mrs. Reyes Vidal is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
